Méabha Magerr – Always Looking Homeward
Méabha is from Belfast and exhibits in Ireland and England. She works in watercolours, pastels, acrylics and charcoal, and has designed stained-glass windows as well as her own Celtic zoomorphic forms.
“These are an eclectic range of paintings but they do have a common thread. They are all inspired by my upbringing and the influence of my home country. Living away from home, especially throughout all of lockdown, I am permanently homesick. It has given me an even greater love of Ireland, her people and culture.”
