Susan McKay is writing a book about borders for which she received an Arts Council of NI major individual artist award and a grant from the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust earlier this year. It will be called Outside in the Navy Dark, from a poem by Leontia Flynn. Her new book on Northern Protestants will be published early in 2021 when her landmark “Northern Protestants an Unsettled People”, first published 20 years ago in 2000, will also be reissued by Blackstaff. Organised by Féile Debates and Discussions Committee and supported by the DFA’s Reconciliation Fund
